Why Your Business Just Might Need a New Website

The second in our series of videos explaining how to maximize your online marketing efforts. The foundation of a great integrated marketing plan is a well constructed, intelligent website. ( Miss the first video? http://bit.ly/rPUEdW )

Back in the day, you used to be able to build a new site for your business and not touch it for a couple of years.
Today’s sites, however, need to be updated frequently and work with online tools to connect your brand to your customers in a meaningful and memorable way. A site backed with strategy will:

  • Build brand awareness
  • Increase web traffic
  • Result in sales

Take a look at our checklist and if your site doesn’t have all these features, give us a call about upgrading to a new site powered by Juice:

  • Today’s sites should be based on a content management system, allowing you to make changes to your website yourself, even from your smart phone!
  • Include a blog for easy sharing and integration with online marketing tools
  • Site should display on a a smart phone or iPad (Flash is so 2004)
  • Build and integrate your email blast list
  • Convert site visitors to fans and followers
  • Include 50% photos and 50% rich SEO text
  • Contain complete analytics to understand your traffic sources and track your results

Over 100K Views and Tons of Press – Juice directs Zinfandel Festival Video for PRWCA

<>
Offering up a combination of The Old Spice Guy, The Most Interesting Man in the World and a dash of Chuck Norris, The Paso Robles Wine Alliance has a new spokesperson to promote their upcoming Zinfandel Festival, we like to call him “Paso Wine Man.”

In the new comedy spot, which debuted last Monday, just in time for online Super Bowl spots, we learn the origin of the Zinfandel grape as told by a handsome, larger-than-life rogue. Featuring veteran actor Casey Biggs, best known for his portrayal of Damar on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and directed by Dina Mande of Juice Marketing in Paso Robles, Wine Man was a bicoastal collaborative effort between the Paso Robles Wine Alliance, Juice Marketing and NY based comedy writer Zay Amsbury.

We’re grateful to Grey Wolf, who provided the location (and wine!), our hot ladies, Gabrielle Valadon and Katie Hamblin, accordion player Tony Taranto and soccer players Joel Peterson, Scott Oberg and Chris Taranto

The first of a new series, Zinfandel — Paso’s Wine, explores the origins of Zinfandel from Tuscany to Croatia and serves as a teaser for the Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival, March 18 – 20, 2011.

We are pleased and proud to have been brought on to be part of the marketing team for the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival. Now in its 18th year, the Festival is ready to grow and we are brainstorming new and innovative ways to bring this beloved brand a broader reach and bigger spotlight. The first task was to design this year’s promotional brochure. Here, Kara our goddess art director and Chelsea, our rockstar account coordinator, celebrate another completed deadline.

Stay tuned as we unveil the 2012 SLOIFF Poster Art Contest, an exciting new way for designers, illustrators, photographers and other artists to compete to have their work selected to be the official Festival poster.

“Wine Is…” Takes First Place in 2010 Wine Spectator Video Contest

High five, pull those corks and salud, everyone. “Wine Is…” took first place!

It was amazing to work on a project that encompassed so many of our favorite faces and places of Paso Robles, especially Joel Peterson who came up with the genius idea of posing the question, “What is wine?” A big thank you and hug to Hope Family Wines who invited us to shoot and edit. Thanks to the Wine Spectator for creating such a fun contest. Click to read the full article.

Shot in the Summer of 2010, we visited a ton of wineries and restaurants and talked to 35 winemakers and sommeliers who finished the sentence Wine Is…
Their answers were touching, funny and mostly true. Most of all, the video seems to be a motion time capsule of the wonderful people who are passionately creating their wines in this unique winegrowing region.

Joel’s concept was simple and brilliant. One appreciative viewer wrote to us, “The idea of asking winemakers and wine lovers a simple question, what wine is to them, borders on genius, and the result is there to prove it.”
